Dexify ("we", "us", "our") is an iOS application that helps collectors scan, value, organize, and showcase their collectibles. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your data transparently.
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have. By using Dexify, you agree to the practices described here.
02Information we collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information you choose to share through Apple's privacy controls.
Scan content
When you scan a collectible, the photo is sent to our servers and processed by AI to identify and grade the item. We retain scans linked to your account so you can access your collection across devices.
Usage data
We collect aggregated, anonymized data on how the app is used — such as which features are opened, scan success rates, and crash logs — to improve the product.
Device information
We may collect basic device information (model, OS version, app version) for diagnostics and compatibility.
03How we use it
- To provide and improve the core scanning, grading, and valuation features
- To sync your collection across your devices
- To send you transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts)
- To diagnose bugs and improve performance
- To prevent fraud and abuse of the service
05Storage & security
Data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security (RLS) enabled — meaning only you can read your collection. All connections are encrypted in transit using TLS.
While we use industry-standard security practices, no system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable Apple's two-factor authentication.
06Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your collection in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for non-essential processing
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getdexify.com. We respond within 30 days.
07Children
Dexify is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
08Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
